Ex-con Steve struggles to move on. Haunted by prison, he can't reconnect with his girlfriend. A meals-on-wheels job leads him to Rod, an eccentric caretaker for his wheelchair-bound mother. Drawn to their playful world, Steve forms an unlikely friendship. Is it hope or fantasy that helps them face reality?
